Eric DeWayne carries a kingdom standard that was instilled in him at an early age, growing up with his family in Indianapolis, IN, where his musical journey began in the church choir. It was there that his gift for music blossomed, later expanding into writing and production under the mentorship of the late, great Bobby DeBarge of the legendary R&B group Switch.
In 2009, Eric relocated to Atlanta and immersed himself in the city’s vibrant music scene, collaborating with Dallas Austin’s camp, Bangledesh (producer of Lil Wayne’s “A Milli”), and many other respected producers and artists. These experiences sharpened his craft and deepened his vision.
Today, Eric returns to the forefront of music with a renewed mission: to love on people through song. His latest project is built to uplift, encourage, and remind listeners that they are seen, valued, and embraced. As an ambassador for Love, Eric’s music doesn’t just entertain—it heals, it inspires, and it reassures us all that Love never fails.
